I was issued a visitors, Class 1 license by the Chinese Radio Sports Association (see below). After arriving in Beijing, I was met at my hotel by Mike Yang (left, below) and Sean/BZ1LUV (right, below), the station manager of BY1QH, and they took me by taxi to the club station on the University campus. My first state-side QSO was with Seymour, W6CCP, and his signal was 20db over S9! Most of my QSOs were with Europe, Russia and Asia.
