Delta DX Association

The Delta DX association (DDXA), founded in June, 1971 by New Orleans area hams who shared a common interest in DXing, is an ARRL affiliated club, with 100% ARRL membership. Monthly meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month in the city, or occasionally scheduled on Saturday elsewhere (see meeting schedule on our Activities page). Our purpose is to:

        • Encourage interest in chasing DX
        • Promote operational skill
        • Disseminate useful DX information
        • Provide meeting presentations of DX interest
        • Greet & entertain visiting DXers

A weekly net is called on all other Tuesdays at 8:00 PM local time on the DDXA club repeaters, W5RU (147.360/960) (N. Causeway - 114.8 hz tone){Receiver inactive) or (Poydras St - 146.2 hz tone). Anyone is welcome to participate in the weekly nets, where DX news and information are regularly provided.
